Found the article from a week or two ago.
It was a private foundation that bought the house from the Sabans (while allowing them to continue to live in it for the rest of their lives, even beyond retirement if they wish).
The foundation paid off the taxes owed this year by the Sabans, but will not have to pay any property taxes in the future, as they are a non-profit organization.

So sounds from that article like iamadoc was closest to was right: that sounds like boosters are behind the organization.

I could see him talking about Les and thinking its a good thing. Id be surprised if hes talking about Gruden because there has been little news on that front other than a future meeting.
We live rent free in everyone's head.
You know what I think pisses them off? We stood up for ourselves.
Never ever never has a fanbase said, we are tired of mediocrity.
Nebraska fans haven't stood up.
Do you think Michigan fans would have if Harbaugh hadn't been the hire? No, they would have taken it.
Florida fans wouldn't do it. I still think they settled with Mullen. He will be good with a flash of great every now and then but that's about it.
Tennessee people are a strong, independent lot for the most part. We support the school and team, to the point of being the most profitable school in the SEC, even though we gave been at one of our lowest points in history.
It's different being a vol fan. It's almost a birthright.
Like I said, if they screw this hire up I just won't watch but I could NEVER cheer for another team. It's in my DNA...
Any more news on his attempt to hold UT to buyout money or a possible defimation lawsuit.
I don't know about the buyout as it pertains to the MOU, but the defamation angle is a non starter, in my opinion. The university had nothing to do with the outcry in regards to tge accusations.

This only works if it is used for official university business, otherwise property taxes will have to be paid.

I just hope we get some information today. I am having surgery tomorrow and will not be able to stay tuned to any news. So Murphy's Law states that the new coach will be announced and I will not know a damn thing. And if I do hear anything i may think it is the meds talking.
