I caught quite a bit of the radio show CPF did with Doug Mathews aired yesterday (104.5 Nashville). CPF specifically talked about using these lineups in short yardage and goal line situations - which we obviously didn't this season.

I believe Alstott was the FB for Tampa Bay when Gruden was there. :)

IF...its Gruden and Tee, how long would Gruden want to coach? And...how long would Tee be willing to wait? If Gruden is successful, then Tee might be in the co-pilots seat a long time waiting for the UT head coach job.

If there is no announcement today their wont be until atleast Wed. because Fulmer will be with Peyton Tuesday in New York for the Hall of Fame Ceremonies he already said he would be there for Peyton.

Ah, forgot about that josey, plenty of time for controlled leaks, I just hope it's not enough time for the Haslams to sabotage the operation. Maybe we won't have to wait that long then, maybe it's sooner, much sooner, SOON !

I’m going to guess he has had a change in plans.

It could give Tee a springboard for him to go be HC somewhere else after 'x' years, then after getting that experience if he's ready and the time is right ... one never knows that far out.

[Edit]
Or Gruden could decide to retire and Tee as HC in waiting just ease into the job without a hitch.

Slow morning and my son running around makes it hard for me to keep up lol. Gruden to the hill! Soon!

NYQUIL works wonders on small children, even in the morning hours.....:)

Agree with this, but I think Tee ultimately wants to be here as the HC.

IMO, an announcement has to come soon to salvage the class. If we are truly trying to finalize a deal with Miles, the announce will be today or tomorrow. If it's anyone else, I think it has to be Wednesday at the latest. All these new coaches around the conferences will be trying to poach our recruits.

I wonder if Jimmy Haslam will give Peyton the "okay" to let Fulmer come with him?

I expect the announcement about Miles, Cut, or Steele will come as we are popping champagne about Gruden.
