Cut probably agrees too. Good money and no pressure.

Although I think Cut is one He!! of a coach, even when he left Ole Miss I didn't think the spotlight he was under was comfortable for him. He's comfortable at Duke and I don't think he would leave under any circumstances to come back to any of the SEC pressure cooker positions. jmo

Silly thang, he's become an afterthought among VOL fans except for the casual observer.

Best comment under it: “he doesn’t want to comment on it. He likes keeping things to himself.”

Tee was contacted last night by Fulmer to be OC... he said he would depending on who the HC is...

Hold on, hold on...is this under the assumption that it was done at the request of a certain HC candidate? If not, I do not like that process. The future HC should have the most influence on the assistant coaches/coordinators selection, not the AD. The AD should be in the role of supporting the hire or questioning the hire, not actually picking the candidate. While I know that does not always happen, it is how it should happen. If not, that means the HC has no control and will be a puppet of the AD. That is not what we need. I am not saying that is happening, or going to happen, just wondering if this did indeed take place, it points to one of two options, 1) we have our coach, or 2) Fulmer is already micromanaging this effort. I hope it is the former.

SIAP posted but I assume everyone saw the hit job on Fulmer this morning in the KNS. We clearly see Adam's has been bought by Haslam.

Legendary Fulmer is smart enough to know the leadership technique’s. He will not ask someone to be an OC without blessing of future or current HC. That would show the big headed future elite HC that Fulmer is not handing over control. Micro Management is for the weak.

Weren’t the initial Grumors saying that Gruden specifically wanted Tee?
I suspect to share coaching responsibilities but also because of his recruiting prowess.
I think the relationship would be mutually beneficial.
As Phil coached tee and they have a good preexisting relationship, wouldn’t it make sense that Jon might want Phil to break the ice?

Heh, and/or Adams is embarrassed and furious at the way Bev Davenport cut him off at the knees Friday during the press conference. :)

Wasn’t Dave Clawson hired as an appeasement to boosters? Maybe the Haslams “suggested” that hire to Phil?

Agreed, and why I had to ask. I suspect there is a HC decided upon, and it is just a matter of time.

I believe that Tee has been mentioned as a possible OC for Les as well.
