OK I'm out. Tomorrow's Gruden day. Hard to sleep when I have visions of sugarplums dancing in my head. damnit i'll kill both my sources if this doesn't happen. and eat my hat like i promised. .

and if Kiffin is hired, Mark my word, I'm a non vol from that day on. Jeez. this crap about: bring him "home" unbelievable. you same idiots were still saying string him up a week ago. pathetic. have some pride. better to lose with some damn dignity than win for one year, get screwed again and ten years later end up on a forum all night talking about hypothetical coaches who may or may not even be interested in the job. look at us!!!!! seriously look at us! WE are the dregs of college football at this point. By gum we better get the almighty Gruden on that hill, pronto! maybe we can forget about this Kiffin "home" talk. makes me sick to my stomach. anybody who uses the phrase "bring kiffin "home"" should be tarred and feathered and assaulted with a moldy corn cob on Fulmer Way in broad daylight on game day.

Wait, tomorrow is Gruden day? I thought first you said it was Friday, then I saw you say it was going to be Monday, and now you're saying it's going to be tomorrow?

Can you give me a final answer please? I would like to be ready to celebrate, but if you keep changing the days, I'm not going to be able to plan my partay accordingly.

:) One of the worst troll jobs I've seen. Thanks for everything you bring Exile. Quick question though, in case I missed it. Is Gruden actually back in play now that Fulmer is AD?

Favorite comedians?

Mine,

Mitch Hedberg

Very solid.

Recently saw John Mulaney and that was great. If I had to be a bit sentimental, I would go with Daniel Tosh's original stuff from like 12 years ago.

Like some Stephen Wright and Chris D'elia.

never said friday. said my source said end of week. everybody else made the rest up from there. people put all kinds of words in my mouth around here. it's devolved into lord of the damn flies. there is no conch, piggy is dead,

I'm hoping for tomorrow. i was told end of week a couple days ago after the fulmer change happened, i did get word that it might take a little longer due to the drama. but i already know i'll start being attacked tomorrow night if it hasn't happened. whatever.

I implore you Vols fans. Don't be asking for Kiffin! no matter what happens. That's like serious abuse-victim mentality. it's some serious beaten dog stockholm syndrome level ****. makes us all look bad. quit that ****

EDIT: yes i did mention monday. that was a guess on my part. nobody actually told me monday. i'm thinking tomorrow

I doubt it if they are going after a guy with SEC experience. Considering when Gruden was here before, there was no SEC

I know they will call him.

I think they will offer more money than before Schiano.

I don't know if he will come and I won't give a percentage. He was dealt with in bad faith and I honestly would not blame him for being gun-shy.

I think Fulmer will sell him hard. I suspect that Blackburn will be utilized to try and bridge any gaps in trust. Wouldn't be surprised at all if Fulmer's 2 year contract gives a timetable for Blackburn to work through things and step up after 2 years.

Don't know if Gruden will say yes. All I know for now is: he hasn't said no yet.

It at the very least takes clarity to be a good troll. Eloquence and brevity is a must. Ain't hurd dat up in hur fo a minute.

That was my logical conclusion after all this. I really really hope we didn't scare him off with our disfunction.

Didn't expect you to give a percentage. You seem like a rational man with a good head on your shoulders so I wouldn't ask that of you. Plus my uncle donates enough for a G10 parking pass and 4 terrace seats a year so I do get a trickle of info every now and then.

Here's to hoping the fans have finally won and I can be proud to be a Vol again.

Fulmer is one hell of a recruiter!

You are a fan and don't let ESPN tell you when to be proud.

Yessir, you did say end of week. I personally took that as end of the work week, but technically Saturday is end of the week.

You did say Monday, but I don't think you were clear at the time that you were guessing. :)

I would be very happy if Gruden signed publicly tomorrow. I would also be very happy if you nailed down a date certain. But since you can't, I will just continue to enjoy your musical contributions to the thread. :hi:

Something I can say tonight that I couldn't before:

If we don't get Gruden, I will not worry for the state of our program. That's how much I trust Phil to get us where we need to be.

might as well have some fun around here while we wait on pins and needles. i thought it'd be done by now too. it's late. i must sleep.

I leave you with a riddle: what's the difference between Schiano and acne?
