Nooo! No Zimas with jolly ranchers. I went to jail when I was 16 for those, lost my license, missed out on my European trip with French class, had to work with the janitor at school for 6 months and attend drug and alcohol classes.

F zimas and jolly ranchers. They will ruin your life.

That is an awesome story!

Somebody help me.....these are quotes from some bama folks I know and even call friend, but there is no arguing with them, they think they are always right.

"In 92 while Majors was in the hospital, drying out (story at the time was heart attack), Fulmer campaigned for him to be fired so he could take over permanently."

"Fulmer is a snake. Always has been. Even Bill Curry didnt like him and Curry liked everyone. Stallings didnt like him either"

"Um Fulmer and the Haslams are tight. They helped put him in."

"2 Haslams on the BOT. They wanted Fulmer."

Help, I need some good comebacks on this stuff.....I hate Bama and I almost Hate their stinking fans, even my friends who are fans!

Actually this was during my time,,Played golf with CJM one time..Nice enough during the day,,The above is a crock of sh1t. They are not tight delusional one

Has anybody said, Saul weingeroff, with the Germans, Kurt and Karl Von Brauner? Hated them, he always threw that fireball in their eyes. when we were kids, I think I was like 9 years old, we used to play wrestling with each other, my brothers that is. one day my older brother thought it might be cool to play Saul Wiengeroff and he went inside and got black pepper and threw it in my eyes, for real, and all the time shouing "And he throws pepper in his eyes!" like he was the announcer! Bout blinded me!....awww good old days!

Haystack.

What about Rock and Roll Express vs The Midnight Express?

I lived a block from the local gym growing up. Jackie Fargo, Tojo Yamamoto, Mean Al Green , Saul Wiendrof (?) and the Interns, And the guy with " THE CLAW".
Thanks for reminding me of this.
Good times.

I'm telling you it is...or was the way to go. I can't stand the damn things but they are back out.

I've got a warped sense of humor. I'm used to your response, just not your resume to back it up. Just know it is never my intention to glorify the **** I've done. I try to make it seem too horrible to deal with, while noting that I manage to deal with it.

This is truer than dead 0.

A family member was pretty involved with the athletic department at that time, and I heard it pretty much blow by blow.

Majors had a heart attack and a CABG. Fulmer was named interim while he recouperated. When he was able to return to coaching, I think they lost games under him, while they'd been winning under Fulmer.

But what got him fired was that he was a notoriously mean drunk, an obnoxious SOB that was hated by nearly everyone who had to work with him. He finally pizzed off enough people in power that after losing those games, they fired him.

I'm not naive enough to think that Fulmer said, No no no, you can't fire him, you can't hire me, but I truly do not believe that he schemed to get rid of him. Sometimes the door of opportunity opens, and you walk through it if you have any sense.

I had a professor whod been at pitt and UT both, and he told me Johnny was the biggest drunk in town at both cities. Said hed seen him so drunk, he had to be carried out of more than one joint. Was amazing he could do what he did for so long. He won a national title in Pittsburgh. He had some damned good teams here. Alcoholism is a degenerative condition, and it really is a hell of a thing.

I think he's a great man. He's done a lot. I vaguely remember when it went down. Fulmer came in and set the world on fire, and when Johnny came back, it was the same old ****.

I sympathize with Johnny a great deal.

I tried to post a Trans Am but man i'm the worst at attaching anything. So...Image, Burt in an Orange cowboy hat flying down 40/75 to save us.

Oh hell its there.

Ahhh, that is awesome! My dad took me to see the original in the theater (looking back a lot of language in that movie for a kid to hear). I came out and told him my first car would be a Trans Am.....and it was. TA with T-tops in high school in the 80s = good times!
