That's what I've been saying. I think he's been a done deal all along but didn't want to announce until Saturday because of Schiano mess Sunday and not wanting to be attached to it. It also makes up for missing a week of recruiting because you know that every potential recruit will be watching saturday..

Jeez, stop with the whole engineering schtick. A bunch of people have popped up through this search saying they were engineers. I've known plenty of them, none of them were smarter than me. My freshman roommate turned out to be an engineer. Didn't know what in the world he was doing though. Is barely competent now.

Calm down with the whole I can pass a bunch of math classes agenda. I get it. You want me to think you are smart. I have an IQ of 147, you don't see me bragging about it. Jeez, kills me.

Let's just get this coaching hire right. First and foremost. End of story.

I was saying I think Currie was done Sunday, with gruden already agreed to the deal, and they just let him go to all these places this week to look like we're interviewing so gruden doesn't look like he's been hired all along and it makes Currie look even more incompetent for punishment

Question though: If it was a done deal all along then why would there have been a Schiano mess in the first place? I want to believe as much as anyone but all of the attempted hires just don't make sense if we had Gruden the whole time.
