I'm drinking with 4 boosters tonight. Have no idea of their level and really don't care.

My buddy is a weekend to weekend during football season fan, I love him though. One guy is a rip Currie and Haslems heads off and do something nasty to them kinda guy. I think my mom had an affair with him and I'm the result. I like him.

The other 2 are sunshine, unicorns, lollipops and rainbows..."the university will do what's best for the masses" kinda guys. I can throat punch them right?

Lol.

Has anyone considered that UT football was entirely controlled by legacy coaches for 32 years, from '76 - '08? Maybe, just maybe, Haslam wanted a piece of that pie and set it in motion with the ouster of Fulmer. The Hasbeens have never been told no, not one they've acquiesced to. These self-proclaimed successes only upped the ante for how far the narrative would be pushed. Even at the expense of Ayres Hall crumbling, it's a message.

I've seen wilder conspiracies, but thought I'd keep with the times.

What’s everyone’s honest gut feeling about the chance we have of hiring Gruden? Since no one ever answers me this is probably pointless but I’d just like to know. Saturday night and early Sunday morning I was at 100%. Today I’m probably 10%

Gut feeling? 0%, this has become to big of a s$&t storm to even think about him coming here

I have no idea. I want Gruden to be head coach and have since 2012 but I don't know what to think anymore.

0% at the moment. Fire Currie is the focus. We can talk Gruden again after that.

If we don't get Gruden offer Les Miles. He had a pretty good record at LSU and won a NC. Is it his age were afraid of?

Yeah .......... that would take a level of genius that neither Currie or anyone else in the administration has shown

Precisely. No way they are smart enough to pull this off. Clear they had no way to know the backlash of Schiano. Without that it was not feasible and that backlash (at least to that degree) couldn't be guaranteed.

This whole thing is almost so stupid and weird that it feels like we may come out ahead. We always say smokescreen, what if the whole dang process has been a smokescreen?

This is what I have been saying!!! It all adds up. All of it. Interviewing sextons client was part of this deal to get all of his clients raises.

The only one that failed was Shiano. Kind of feel bad for the fella and his family. That’s prob why the national media was so pissed about it. We have all been running in circles for a week and it’s be the Gru all along lol

Now people are tweeting for Mike Leach - good grief people he would get abused in the SEC!

This is just freaking depressing.

I'm at 1%.

So much has to fall into place that I doubt will. No way he's walking into this ****show now.

It’s 0. If there was any chance no way this charade is still going on. And on top of that, Fulmer looks like the replacement for Currie, so no shot.

I dont believe Currie has been pulled off the coaching search. Misdirection - dirty sanchez coming to VolNation!

I so hope you’re right

I don't see why his age would matter if there was a successor in place on staff by the time he retires.

He's 64 two years younger than Saban, he's at least got five years left in him

Unfortunately, it has sailed for me.

Beav and other shills guaranteed the backlash.

Your gonna have to read more preach. The Haslams have a 360° stranglehold on our beloved university.

oh, i get it. i read it.
it's bologna. buncha scared politicians on the hill.
it's killing the program.

we can pitch our fits all we want to (and we should) but ultimately, it's gonna take enough big money boosters going nuclear to make a difference. somebody internally makes a stand, others follow, dominos fall.

all else is futile.

may as well support tee, or lane, or les, or doeoran, or dooley, or butch or whoever. it'll never change. we can only hope to catch lightening in a bottle.

OP, not hammering at you. just venting.

Anybody know Wisconsin has 13 former Wisconsin players on their coaching staff? Yes the undefeated Wisconsin.
