Trey Wallace and Houston Kress are suggesting that Currie is meeting with Leach, who was in L.A. on a recruiting trip...hearing that from VQ as well.

Alright, love you guys. But VolNation has been clamoring for Tee since the Schiano Fiasco and now we think Tee is a Red Herring for Haslam to punish the fans? Don’t buy it. I’m all in for a Tee hire.

This is crazy. Why did the media report Schiano had been hired and now rumors of Schiano suing UT? Why would Currie subject himself to so much scrutiny?

In all fairness the media has reported a few coaches were expected to take the job. Also the vols fans caused the backlash not Currie. He had to put out some kind of press release. Again I didn’t say this was fact. Just hoping

Schiano is getting tons of publicity, and a lot of the national media has the “poor Schiano” take on the situation. It didn’t hurt him as bad as he lets on.

First, does anyone here, TOS, or Twitter actually know where Currie is? Lots of guessing and spinning out of control. Slow down, do not lose your mind in the silence. Mission one, other than the goal of getting Currie gone, needs to be locating him. It is much easier to fight someone if you can “see” them.

Wonder if Tee takes the job if Peytons afraid he wouldnt be the favorite son anymore

Pretty sure Peyton is cool with it if he's not you and won't know why for awhile and certainly won't if he is not.
I'm allllllllllll GRUDEN

Not saying Tee is the next Dabo Sweeney but what was Dabo before? He was a WR coach not even a coordinator....Tee is competent surround him with a little experience and some hungry coordinators and turn him loose if we don't get our man.

about Tee ... help me out here ...

if we fire Currie, and hire fulmer/blackburn, it's over. haslam doesn't have his puppet AD in place to do his bidding. neutered. game over.

what's the hold up? why hasn't currie been fired?

If the Tee situation really happens then I believe we have finally met our demise. I will not speak badly about Tee, but hopefully others are letting him know Currie and Haslam's true intentions if this is the case.

Even with great AD support, I wouldn't give Tee better than a 5% chance of being successful as HC. Not many guys can make it at a P5 school without HC experience. Tee needs to be HC somewhere else before he takes over at UT. South Alabama is open, and with it being his home town, this would be the place for him to get that experience.

Deal with it.gif

I believe Haslam is about to pull his last gambit.

They are going to try to sell you on Tee as HC.

They hope this will make you cheer and accept a Haslam Hire.

If Tee is hired by this administration, they will remain in power.

They will do their utmost to destroy Tee if he accepts.

If he accepts and fails, they will crow that it was "all the fans fault."

And the cycle will continue.

DO NOT FALL FOR IT.

This is crazy. Is being in control that important to Haslam? He owns the Browns and can do whatever he wants with them. Hiring Tee and then trying to sabatoge him is asinine. If UT is successful, he is Successful. To be honest, even if he gets his coach, how much control does that give him over the program?
