Anyone seen Tuesday?

He was here earlier. Said he had taken a break after things got crazy a couple days ago. I hope he can give Tee a heads up.

So... I've not been around for a few days but I was wondering if anyone has called out that Tuesday guy yet for being completely full of sh*t. He was friends with Tee and was saying that he was in talks. I knew he was a fraud when he says he was like 29 but good friends with Tee.

Hes not full of ****. I seen texts from Tee to him and pics of them.

There have been some asinine comments in these threads but this one takes the cake. If a VFL who gave his blood sweat and tears to this program and brought us a national title wants to coach here then by God I’m going to support him and hope he wins every game.

Thank you for saying it.

Guys, Tee is an adult and he isn't dumb. If he takes the job, he knows what is going on behind the scenes. If you boycott him, it's only going to make things look worse for this fanbase and be a slap in the face to Tee. There is no guarantee Haslam will ever remove himself. We can't boycott every coach waiting on that fantasy to happen.

Not when he doesnt have the experience for it. He will get eat alive. He will be a puppet and a blame bag.

Do not want Tee as HC.

I have friends 20 years my senior. Why would that be what you used?

So, Tee can't be friends with a 29 year old???

If only there was someone who knew Tee personally, and might be able to talk him into not accepting anything.

I know for a fact Trey Wallace is connected to Tee. Trey's parents are friends with Tee's mom. They invited me and my son to their place to meet Tee after the NC.

I mean, how can we reject Tee without looking like we hate our VFLs? Serious question. Hell, we don't hate Tee, we just want Gruden.

One would think that would break the camel's back for Currie.

Would Tee turn us down and sacrifice his own jump to head coach at his dream job to get Currie fired (assuming the rumor is true about him being Gruden's OC) knowing he will be here anyways and maybe HC in waiting.

So we’re just suppose to roll over for Haslam just because he did something we want? Come on we all know whether we want to admit it or not Tee would be snake bit before he got the first team workout in.

The point is that Tee will be used as a fall guy by Haslem to keep himself in control.

If you actually care about Tee, you would not want this.

Every time I venture out of this forum, I keep seeing the time to face reality or the world is ending so we might as well accept this suckface as our future?

In less than a few days since the Schiano debacle a lot of VN has already caved in. And everytime I see it I simply state no hire until Currie and Haslam are out.

But exactly what the Haslam clan is doing is already starting to work. Just wait us out. As evidenced by what I read when I venture outside the Gruden thread.

I believe Haslam is about to pull his last gambit.

They are going to try to sell you on Tee as HC.

They hope this will make you cheer and accept a Haslam Hire.

If Tee is hired by this administration, they will remain in power.

They will do their utmost to destroy Tee if he accepts.

If he accepts and fails, they will crow that it was "all the fans fault."

And the cycle will continue.

DO NOT FALL FOR IT.

Unfortunately this just sounds to correct to be anything but true. Currie’s “statement” essentially calling Vol fans stupid for running off his and Haslam’s guy Schiano and now how we reacted to Doeren makes me think he’ll play this exact card. “I gave you what you wanted, he failed. Now shut up while we who are smarter than you hire a Football coach.” This just reeks of how much of a crap weasel both Haslam and Currie seem to be.

We have had a good run, but I honestly do not see how we would or could boycott a Tee hire. The overwhelming majority of the fanbase would accept that hire, and rightfully so. I think that's where the boosters opposing Haslam would need to step in and do their part. We have seen all these cryptic statements and "sources," yet what have the people with real influence done to help this cause? And I do not mean rejecting the Schiano deal, but to overthrow Haslam and Currie. The only way to do that is when people with real power and money within the University take a stand.

I would be silent on that hire, but I would not get back on board the Big Orange train unless they became a top-tier program again.
