Speaking of guitarists I did witness Kenny Wayne Shepard give away a brand new signed Fender Strat to a kid maybe 4-5 years old at Memphis in May. Probably the coolest thing I have seen at a concert.

Got to see him live about 20 years ago when he was still a kid. He can play. Gary Clark Jr pretty good too

I haven’t seen anyone mention Eric Johnson. Cliffs of Dover was insane

I have a buddy who owns one of the vintage Marshall 50 watt heads that Johnson played.

When you play through it, its like you can hear all the greats whispering to you. Its insane...

Yes! Actually he's on the clock as he tweeted this morning before the news of Currie being fired that we'd have have a great coach within 48 hours!

Can you post beaver’s tweet that said 48 hours I might’ve overlooked it. I saw one saying we were on the clock

Ha! I’m laying in bed trying to type this out.... I meant like! But, hey whatever...

That's awesome man! Watch for the deer on Lee Hwy!

Go see The Woodshedders some time. Killer band, wish they were local to Knox.

Oh, dead deer are every where. They are over populated. It’s crazy!

BTW, I’m a chick, but it’s OK. Lol.
I’ll take a look. I’m always on the hunt for fresh new music. Thanks!

Love the 930 Club for shows . Haven’t made it to Merriwweather Post yet. So many great venues nearby....the Woodshedders. Writing it down!

Question for you guys. Now that we’ve removed Currie, will Davenport be removed as well? Considering she hired Currie and trolled Vol fans with fake flight plans and such? She needs to be sacked as well.

No...I think she came over to the good side! She might have done some of that stuff, but in the end she fired Currie and hired Fulmer!

Kenny Wayne can really kill some Hendrix and SRV, but he's a total douche on stage IMO.

Saw him at a Hendrix tribute in Dallas. He closed the show and absolutely killed some Voodoo Child, but he stepped right to the center of the stage, hit a bend, and then did a two finger point across the entire crowd. Seemed choreographed and just felt douchey.

Gary Clark on the other hand....now that guy is the REAL DEAL!!
