I feel such pride in my beloved Vols right now, and much gratitude to all involved, especially Chancellor Davenport. Thank You so, so, so, very much. It seems like it's the first thing we've done right in over a decade. Now, we just pray that our proud new Athletic Director goes out and recruits the right man for the job.

This... Met her very briefly last summer. She was very excited to be here and at the event we met she seemed a bit overwhelmed. She did what we have been asking the past few days...

We are all thankful for Chancellor Davenport's decision today! Give her a call, email, tweet, etc and let her know!

I just called and the receptionist almost broke down into tears and said that a sincere thank you was the nicest thing that she has heard all day!

Let her know how grateful we are for making the right hire.

She was talking directly to us through that press conference. Couldn't be bothered with John Adams or the press, they were just a medium to get word back to us.

She actually (or if she had help, her scriptwriter) did a very good job of crafting her opening comments. Listen again: there's some subtle genius in them.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I interpreted Phil's "may have guys interested now that weren't interested before" as talking to recruits not coaches... Anyone else agree?
