Here's the problem. This probably just means Peyton is leading it then. And Peyton - as has now been stated - is aligned with the Haslem. How do we get Haslem out of the picture.

My hope is in the fact that he made his millions being a smart QB. Hopefully that will translate to business decisions real soon.

If deerhunter/beav/Grudenites in general can say a deal has been worked out, like its been reported since bubba stated, be back in ten years...Currie has to be in the middle of it. If his play is to be the hero, like stated by Beaver, this week sets the stage. Now, if he's out on his a$$, he bungled everything (at HoH's behest). I think its the former, but what do I know (nuthin'). I think we'll get the answer within 72 hours.

People this is craziness. If Curry wanted Gruden why all of the drama. There is no legitimate reason to make the University look like a complete train wreck. If he needed to buy time, just don't make an announcement. I want Gruden as bad as anyone, but we are reaching with this cloak and dagger stuff.

I have to remember that it doesn't make a lick of sense for me to take things personally if I'm posting anonymously. I value my personal reputation in real life, and my word as a man is important to me. but right now on here, I'm just some guy who just started an account telling everybody the news they want to hear.

If the shoe were on the other foot, I'm not sure I'd believe me either. But I like to think i would understand the posts I read before replying and not just make up that somebody said their kid played womens hoops here but not for pat. I mean that makes ZERO sense. still no idea where that came from.

Oh sure, you're absolutely right. Never thought of those in the same vein as buyout clauses, but they pretty much are. Just much smaller in $$ (unless any of yours came in the $millions ... I sure know the early retirement packages we saw in the military in the late '90s were a pittance in comparison).

Size depends on the leverage the person has when he inmates an employment contract OR, in my case with the larger payday, you have a critical position in the change of ownership situation. I did get one 7 figure "buyout". Blessed far beyond what I ever dreamed.

I don’t think he said that in the presser. I think he said that to a recruit. The date was December 20 iirc.

QB recruit Martinez wanted a coach in place so he could make his decision by Dec. 20. Believe Currie told him
coach in place by Dec. 10. or he wouldn't be AD. MY hope is that date Currie promised is now Nov. 30. FIRE CURRIE!

With all the rumors floating around in regards to Peyton siding with Haslams, they can't allow Peyton to do the search. Won't happen.
