SIAP....I just went and checked out the WBiR website in Knoxville. They ran a report yesterday evening saying that Brohm was contacted but NEVER offered a deal. They quoted a “source”. Also said that Bev never denied the deal because there wasn’t one. Anyone have any ideas as to WTH is going on?

What puzzles me more than the information that’s “out there” is the information that isn’t. Why have we heard no defense really from Davenport or DePietro? Why are we hearing no rebuttal from Haslams other than what Bill said about the Schiano deal? Why is Peyton not defending himself? Why are we hearing nothing from Jon Gruden or his agent? It’s like shouting into a well and just hearing echoes. Is anyone really listening among those I mentioned?

Understand that Davenport and Dipietro are working, wonder why Dipietro's name came out a little after hearing Davenport vetoed the hire, because probably Haslam called him, guess what, they made their choice. The actions are their words. We see if they hold on to this new view.

Manning fell on the sword so to speak, he has nothing to say until this is over, and even then, he probably won't address it, happy to be silently appreciated and hated publicily to get what he wanted for UT.

Gruden, he trusts the people he has talked to and worked with to handle their end, he is a football coach.
