Unlike some, I can see past the Super Bowl ring. I can see that he was 45-54 after that Super Bowl despite having a top 10 defense every year. I can see that despite being a self-proclaimed "offensive genius", his offense (Rich Bisaccia was the OC in name only) never broke into the top half of the NFL in overall competence.

Dude is trash, and I'm not sorry for being the fly in the ointment. His claim to fame is riding a #1 defense to a Super Bowl, making stupid faces, and reading a teleprompter.

So based on his record (at Tampa nonetheless) he is a bad coach? Do I need to start throwing out some coaches NFL records?

I live in Bama, so it will be easy for me

With that said, the thought of not supporting something so dear to me like this program has literally made me sick to my stomach. I love UT, I earned a degree from that special place and it opened a lot of doors for me, but I cant support something that is run by people who don't care about it as much as I do.

This is exactly how I feel. In 2015 my wife told me she couldn’t handle how much Tennessee football stresses me out, and asked me to not watch the games. Last year (2016) I could hardly handle watching the games, and stopped after Texas A&M loss in OT. It was just too dang stressful. After the Florida game this year , I didn’t watch a single game. It hurts me deeply. I’m 35 years old. I grew up in Madisonville TN. The only thing more important to me than Tennessee football in the fall while growing up was playing Pop Werner and High school Football. As an adult all I have is UT football. After this year’s coaching mess I literally feel the same way I felt when I lost my father. Literally could cry. I do not want to stop watching and supporting Tennessee football, but I cannot, for the sake of my health continue supporting a team that isn’t even supported by it’s own university administration. If this DD hire happens I’m done.

Thats the bottom line, and I believe that many other Tennessee fans probably feel the same way.

I’m not thinking it is a good idea for UT to be considering a coach that brags about giving a player a concussion. Just sayin’...

Goodness. Schiano and Sandusky. And now this.

Is Michael Vick next on Currie's list?

I've been working today. Did Skeeter have any leaks come out against the Haslams yet? He was saying there would be some damaging leaks soon. Any updates?

Skeeter said "hold my beer" last night before heading off to the Twitterverse.

We expected a triple Lindy.

He did a couple of cannonballs and one weak can opener.

After a while of nothing else happening, we realized he wasn't coming back for his beer.

If Doeren is hired not only will this kill the fanbase off. The school will suffer hugely financially. Donations will stop. Next up is the city of Knoxville. Talk about a another huge hit financially. Do the people at UT not see what their about to cause?

they will have to show me a plan before i invest any more time or effort in any "phase."

if we hire doeron, i'm done. we lost. they lost me.
show me a plan, a path, to unseat the HOH, and i'll hang around to help burn it down.

don't have time and energy to waste once the hire is announced.

just sayin ...

Preacher, I believe that IS the plan. Total fan apathy. We buy nothing, attend nothing and completely reVOLt. Won’t me hard for me.
