Got this canned response from an email I sent his morning:
Dear (my name),
Thank you for your recent email. You are an important member of the UT family and your feedback is appreciated. UT enjoys a rich history and we are fortunate to have such loyal and dedicated alumni and friends who care so deeply about the university. As we receive comments from alumni and friends, this information is routinely shared with key members of the UT administration. This process ensures your voice is heard. Our office will remain focused on working with you to advance UT and enrich the lives of our students and alumni.
Sincerely,
Lee
Leland (Lee) D. Patouillet, Ph.D. (MS '76)
Associate Vice Chancellor of Alumni Affairs
Hes a fairly significant booster who lends planes for university travel. He has some knowledge of the workings of the search because of that.
Atlanta Vol has given very little actual detail. Lots of what he said goes thru the telephone game and misconstrued.
Example: AV validated Beavs information.
In fact, he did not. He said Beav appears to be connected because the golf courses he plays are ones you dont just hop on as an average dude. He and Beav connected on twitter. Says Beav is probably connected.
But the people that think AV as a significant booster validates what beav said are wrong.
With you all the way man, I get it. But you got lit up all day the other day by folks that don't.
PSA: Everyone keep calm and carry on- call, tweet, email. Stall any action while the folks that can bring this to a head are working on in.
Actually sure they talked through email. He said there was no doubt he knew people and had some insight. What started it was the golf course. They mess each other after and ATL wouldn't elaborate on exactly what they talked about.
Got something to say? I'm always here...but with the current situation in the AD, there is just not much to say. We have a crisis of leadership that has to be fixed before the coaching matter even needs to be addressed.
It's funny how the boards resident doubting Thomas has become Richard the Lionhearted when he thinks nobody is around. You've been a wilting violet this whole time with your "Grudenometer" reading updated multiple times daily, until now, when we have an obvious issue of leadership. All of a suddenly you've painted your face Orange and are rallying the troops.
You have accusations, level 'em. Or...continue being passive aggressive. Seems more your style.
I have yet to get a reply of any kind.
