I didn't bring it up yesterday because I really didn't want to go there. But Sheman and Shepard brought it up yesterday that Tee not even being contacted had to be a race issue. They both were completely like WTF?

I usually hate this type of talk but at this point you can't argue this point. Literally all of our top candidates right now are African American. Now that we know Haslem is making these calls does it say something about him?

If nothing else UT needs to cut off any connection because of the possibility (probability) that the huge donations coming from the Haslams are dirty money gained through fraud. I am not a legal expert but wouldn't that sort of be money laundering?

Deerpark said by “the end of the week” Gruden would be announced. I’m not buying anything he said. He was asked twice why all the side stuff and letting things get so out of control, but wouldn’t answer.

It's so disheartening that such influential folks are afraid of success. What was Haslam's relationship with Fulmer 20 years ago?

They aren’t afraid of success. Their egos get huge and they think that they are solely responsible for their success.

I worked for a CEO that acted this way. He was successful because of the people around him that were competent. VP’s and the heads of marketing/research would try to schedule meetings with potential business partners without him around because he would totally screw up those meetings. I was with him when he found out about one after the fact and he fired the VP that day. That’s a hard situation to be in.

Getting public support from VFLs is key right now. I applaud Swain for sticking his neck out and organizing it. Their buy in lends credibility. Now if only a big money booster would lead the charge.
