I said it earlier, he'd be crazy to come here. He will be strung up and field dressed.

I don't want him, but he doesn't deserve this. Keep your focus where it belongs.

I still don't understand the drive and motivation to hire a bad coach when so many other options are/were on the table. Why not call Mullen back... why turn down Lane/Tee/Kevin... why... why... none of this makes sense... why are we theoretically offering $3 million to the NC State coach... why...

It appears they got pretty good info. But, it seems that Gruden, while listening, had not in any way indicated he was or might be in agreement to become the Vols HC. But, he was still listening, so it was possible, until Sunday. Currie played his hand and now the booster nuclear option is about to go down.

As long as Currie is the one doing the hiring and Haslam is the one calling the shots nobody worth a darn is going to want it. It has nothing to do with Tennessee or it's fans. It has everything to do with the folks in charge, Currie and Haslam. It is OBVIOUS FOLKS!:rock:

It’s no longer about the coach. It’s power it’s them saying you’re going to get the big green weeny and like it.

In other words the floggings will continue until moral improves.

Tennessee administration should have went after Gruden, if he didn't take it after exhausting all effort they should have made a statement and laid it all out there. Then they could have said while we wanted Gruden we will now go after the best coaches out there and there are many. We appreciate you patience and we want you to know we will exhaust all our efforts to provide this great University and fan base a winning coach and staff you can be proud of. That is what we expect and will always strive for. Have a great day. But instead we got backstabbing lying. FIRE CURRIE! HIRE BLACKBURN and Tell JIMMY NO!
