I've been posting less, but that's a combination of finals coming up and trying not to get behind, and the fact that thinking about UT athletics right now tends to dampen my spirits. I would think the latter might be the case for others as well.

I'm still lurking though, to keep up with the latest.

MY husband, me, & oldest daughter are alums - youngest is a junior living in the Fort with 9 sorority sisters - should be some of the best times in her life. She texted me tonight & said "I don’t want to go to this university anymore." I'm LIVID!

Both my daughters are seniors at UT. I feel your anger with every minute that goes by.

I gotta say that the dedication you guys have to this insane idea is impressive. Maybe not so healthy but impressive all the same. Most people would have given up because of the overwhelming evidence that Gruden is not coming here. Not you guys! Keep the faith!

I have just one question. If Gruden is not hired this time will you still be doing this the next time around?

I'm told by en of week. This will be the most lucrative coaching deal in sports. I wasn't given a number but told it's high. "Insanely high" was the exact phrase from one person. I'm told that's why they originally walked away from the deal. They felt they were too far apart. They're not going to go off half cocked again. It would literally mean their jobs, or heads. I can't ever remember this place being such a grammar police state. I know you're all anxious. Oh well, we shall rise again. :clapping:
