LEO opinion, with the disclaimer that video does not always show the "El Grande Mosaic", and no audio, so...

It's very common when leading someone from behind with a wrist lock (which is what it looked like) for them to bend forward to relieve pressure and/or try to work out of it. No way to tell which it was, but if you know the right way to do a wrist lock, then you should also know to just ride it forward if they do that, and let them work themselves to the ground. Body slams are a way of taking a standing fight to the ground, and are widely considered to be a "stun" move, in that if you do it right, you land on top of the actively resisting subject.

WWE move was excessive, IMO. But I wasn't there.

Again, optics...

what if he'd been drinking? All bets off then?

Let me frame it this way. If you've had a few drinks, does a security guard have a right to tackle you?

That is being overly simplistic. While it complicates the case, it does not kill the case. The video would speak the loudest.

Hell yeah. The dam is breaking. It's happening folks. DO NOT LET UP. MORE FIGHT. MORE CHANTS ON CAMPUS. MORE TWEETS. MORE EMAILS. MORE CALLS.

If you see a mattress burning, ignore the water and reach for the gasoline.

Dream scenario. Currie is doing the greatest smokescreen of all time and spreading tons of rumors to all of the sudden have Gruden :)

I’m with you on this one....except for the part where Currie’s trying to figure out how to turn on his computer....so he can go Netscape the name Jon Gruden to figure out who he is.

Just messing with ya max! I saw it before you posted what he tweeted. Lol.. appreciate your updates! Meant to tell you all along...

Oh okay. I appreciate it! I've got all my notes saved in the event of a miracle.

For now my guide isn't much of a guide :p

Why is everyone avoiding the fact he knew they were being abused and did nothing!

The thought of a man doing such heinous acts being associated with Tennessee makes my stomach turn and want to burn everything UT I have

That by no means is a fact. It's an accusation.

I was looking at the "drunk and disorderly" play which may not have been caught on camera.

I know as having a CCL once you have a few drinks things do get a little more complicated.....

So the kid got mouthy?......

Are you, as a security guard, that insecure, that you have to take down someone??

Looked to me like the security guard was just along for the ride.

"Mouthy" is not active resistance. Those days are, or should be, behind us.

The LEO community has an image problem. A small percentage of us (them) created it. This doesn't help.

Welcome to life as someone that doesn't fit into their little elitist bubble.

Fortunately, as we're seeing with scum like Matt Lauer, it's becoming apparent that their bubble is made of sh*t.

ESPN is dying. Yahoo is dying. SI is dying. These people are on a sinking ship and clinging to whatever narrative that they think will make them relevant.
