Estimated 200 million would be gone from prominent boosters and small donors and fans. In 2 years alone.

Not asking if you're are connected or not but that seems legit and if that's the case then let haslam pay that out of pocket every year

They think we are lemmings. And the media is focusing on the result, not the cause. Not a single TV commentator has mentioned how difunctional the UT AD has been since 2006. All they say is the UT job is not as attractive as UT fans think. Bama wasn't too attractive after DuBose, Fran, Price and Shula, either, and they did alright with their next hire. So can UT. We, like Bama fans, just have to demand it.

Absolutely correct. And how did Bama right the ship? It started by kicking its own problem causing, meddling booster know as Bear Bryant Jr to the curb. Then Saban became attainable. And the rest is history.

For those who are Shrinking violets tonight and having heart attacks at what is happening, did you really think that we would be able to remove this cancer easy without a war.. The Haslam tree has deep roots and it will require the lawn to be filled in with top soil and reseeded once it is finally uprooted because of the hole it will leave...

Oh but once you view the new lawn you will truly see it was worth it

There’s no way Davenport and Dipeitro don’t have me on mute on Twitter lol.

Coasty I actually like you as a poster but I actually had a heart attack on Friday and it had nothing to do with wilting like a flower. I’m still here hoping we clean the rot from our AD and get someone in charge with some brass balls.

Doesn't matter. He did nothing to justify that takedown. We saw the video.

UT will pay dearly for that incident.

I'm in favor of the "Fire Currie" chant. Don't know what the guy did before he was being escorted out, but from what I think I saw, the takedown was probably justified, IMO. When you don't obey a lawful command from a law enforcement officer, and you resist his attempt to escort you out, I think he has the right to subdue you. I'm old school. Disrespect of law enforcement cannot and should not be tolerated. You may disagree, but you must obey.

LEO opinion, with the disclaimer that video does not always show the "El Grande Mosaic", and no audio, so...

It's very common when leading someone from behind with a wrist lock (which is what it looked like) for them to bend forward to relieve pressure and/or try to work out of it. No way to tell which it was, but if you know the right way to do a wrist lock, then you should also know to just ride it forward if they do that, and let them work themselves to the ground. Body slams are a way of taking a standing fight to the ground, and are widely considered to be a "stun" move, in that if you do it right, you land on top of the actively resisting subject.

WWE move was excessive, IMO. But I wasn't there.

I would take that video and go to a jury any day. A picture is worth a thousand words.

The UT side can try to explain it away. But one thing I learned about this law stuff. When you are the side doing the explaining, you are the side with a problem.

Plus, the three on one makes it look even worse. You take those three depositions separately, and you end up with three different stories. Then you ask the jury, "so, who is telling the truth...or is anybody telling the truth." Those meatheads would sink UT's case.

Larry Scott just tweeted for the first time since October 2nd.

It was a retweet of commit Michael Penix posting a picture of himself, Scott, Gillespie, and Canales.

Serious question, do you all think all these protests, emails, letters, calls, etc. will hurt our chances of going to a bowl game this year? 😬😁😁
