You people are delusional. Brohm isn’t Dooley or Butch. He is a fantastic coach with a TON of passion. We will be fun to watch again. He will have our team running through brick walls. Just go watch some YouTube videos of him. Please get behind this hire, a negative reaction to this will make us all a laughing stock.

The University has already made itself a laughing stock, no help from the fans needed. I hope they're making a good hire but, if so, it'll be luck and not competence. I find it hard to muster up any excitement for anything being done by Davenport/DiPietro/Currie at this point.

Sorry for being rude, but it is THIS exact attitude that has allowed the administration to run over the fanbase because they know they can trot out any loser and people will rally behind him.

Oh but your not thinking about how great coach Sam "smiddy" Schmidt from Northeast New london of Naperville Quincy Adams Tech Community College..he went 6-6 and has a fun playbook and is passionate...why in the world would WE the university of Tennessee fans expect this damn administration go out a get a HC the will make EVERYONE want to sing rocky top and make those that don't FEAR rocky top....

Vandy game was my wifes birthday present to me. I knew we'd lose but it was a chance to see a game in real life, not something I have the opportunity to do. I went to enjoy the atmosphere, the band, the stadium, I just love Knoxville. Still gave me chills.

Said to think that will prob be the last game I care about.

Never forget dad taking me to my first orange and white game, getting to walk on the field and meet Johnny Majors...memories look like old game films in my mind.

These people have destroyed this program. For what? Power? Hope they all rot in hell.

I was thinking about how I was going to take my son to his first game. Was hoping AtlantaVol could help with that bit it didnt pan out.

As much as everyone is hating Currie right now, he said not to believe anything until HE announces the next coach. I could go on about the smokescreens, and cloak and dagger stuff, but I won't. I do remember that MIT said that things would look bad, and Currie would come out of this looking like a hero. So far that is not the case. But WHAT IF all this is is happening and then all of a sudden Currie is on the podium with Mr. Gruden? Not saying it's going to happen, however, I was a believer, both in 2012 and 2017. I hope it happens, but my meter has dropped to like 10%.

Are the boosters more organized in their efforts to turn coaches away in 2017? Heard a lot about how they convinced many coaches to not take the job in 2012 (Strong) including Butch, but he was so arrogant he took it anyway.

That's the only thing that makes sense why Hyams would put out premature info like that (because Haslam told him to).
