Here's the thing I hate the most...... Sometimes you have to burn something down in order to be able to rebuild from scratch.

Just knocking down a wall or two and an interior remodel won't get it done. You've still got the same old crappy house.

I hate to say it but we, as fans, are going to have to help commit some serious arson if we want a completely new structure.

C4 knocking at your door...

Just tweeted Doeran:
Coach, I'm a die hard Vol fan. Believe me, you don't want any part of this ****storm right now. Vol fans would rather burn down the program than let Currie and Haslam make the next HC hire. Wait until they are removed.

My e-mail to Chancellor Davenport.

Chancellor Davenport,

We fans are not the evil being as the media has portrayed us to be. We are passionate about the Vols, as we should be. The problem as I see it is not from the bottom up, but more from the top down. We fans . want the best coach possible for the University. Great sports teams would be very beneficial for the school. Please, if you want the University of Tennessee to be relevant, as related to sports, don’t let the wrong people make this coaching decision.

Either he's hated at his current school and paid pennies or hated here and paid decently

And I can't blame him for that...... You gotta get paid.

The problem is his hiring is just going to kick the can down the road for at a minimum of 3 years.

The biggest problem is I don't see how we as TN fans can prevent the offer being made.

It's become obvious that our voices aren't going to be heard unless we pull another Schiano level revolt. Unfortunately, what we need is NO ONE accepting the job.

Haslam HAS to be shown, by the fans, that his meddling will no longer be tolerated. Even if that means we have to take Ainge up on his offer to gather up a bunch of VFLs and play some "draw a play in the dirt" football.

I believe you. I also believe the thousands of people tweeting it and posting it in here. Everyone knows it..they are just now not afraid to say it.

Every time I hear about these crappy coaches getting interviewed, I get nervous. It feels like the scene in 300 where they just kept fighting off attacks...

I was a little skeptical also, but after how things went with Brohm today I’m certain there is something going on.

Davenport didn't buy into paying Brohm any more than he was offered. Wonder how much Brohm's pay will increase now that we sought him?

Maybe Davenport wants someone better than Currie is bringing to the table. She said no to Brohm. Probably see her say no to DD. She wants Currie gone and knows we need to hire a winner. Why else would they approve 7 million for Grundy and not enough to get Brohm today? Would've had to have been cheaper than Gundy

For those who need encouragement this is what is at stake

Just heard the chant on the radio. Was really loud. Buddy just texted me that security is threatening to throw people out if they keep it up.

Two things! First, why was, the other, Haslam voted into the governors seat? I'm no longer a Tennessee resident so I had no vote. This only strengthened the Haslam power.
Second thing, The fans at the game should be chanting "Currie has a Man-gi-na! Currie has a Man-gi-na!" That is all.

Actually the last thing is #firecurrie #grudentothehill #GBO

What's truly going to suck is that Doeren will take 2 mill and a family size bag of M & Ms to coach here. His buyout won't matter. He won't even use the leverage he has to force a large buyout.

And the PTB at TN will be happy that they got a coach on the cheap.

Hire Doeren and we'll be doing this same **** in 3 years.

That appears to be the case. We may not get Gruden, but an attempt to get a really good coach will be initiated if Haslam can be put down. Every time I think of him I see "Mr. Potter" from "Its a Wonderful Life". What a power-hungry narcissistic a$$hole he must be.

I’m with you on that but I hear him saying “Cook!!! Where’s my hosenfefer!”
