Maybe Phil is insisting that the coaching staff has several Vols (Tee, Steele and/or Dale Jones). If I'm HC, I would want a staff loyal to me, not to Fulmer. I doubt this is the case, but doubt Tee is the sole issue.

Pruitt has to understand that he has to develop staff and start recruiting at Tennessee but I don't see why he couldn't coach in playoff like Kirby Smart did 2 years ago. I hope Phil doesn't walk away from this

My biggest issue with this news is the idea its about to get very bumpy. As if its been a smooth ride.

IMO, Pruitt is the guy, however Alabama is wanting him to stay through the Playoff, which Tennessee doesn’t want at all. They need him to recruit and be here. The other thing is that Pruitt probably wants to bring in his own people, Fulmer wants Tee to come in as OC. Probably why there is still a delay to announce him. Still working out the fine details.

Contractually, I’m not allowed. Plus, for a speeding ticket, you’re better off with someone familiar with the judge and local law enforcement.
