No, he won’t be. There’s only one man who replaces Saban and he’s .500 or better against him. That man is Dabo Sweeney. He’s been the unofficial official replacement for a while now imo.

Pruitt may turn out to be a great head coach but there is absolutely not a shread of evidence that this is the case. He's never been a head guy before. He has been the DC at Alabama for one year.

Now compare our hire to our peers in conference. FLA and A&M make solid hires of proven guys. I just wished we would aim higher and learn from our past mistakes. This hire is at such a crucial time. Fan apathy is at an all time high. Friday the press conference brought me hope but today not so much.

Where are our insiders on the booster side, how did this get sideways? How do we go from paying Gruden 10,000,000 a year to paying Pruitt 4,000,000, If we are going the coordinator route PF would do better to get a Tennessee guy, if Pruitt is the hire it is not a great hire that will have a long leash with the fans, it doesn't make sense. Fans do not want unproven!

Would love nothing more than that but it appears we are too inept to go after anyone proven. That and/or Tennessee has fallen so far down it will take another 10 years and 2 more coaching searches to be good again. I'm tired of rebuilding. Definitely feels like the AT-ATs are approaching, except this time they've locked down all exit vectors off of Hoth and we're screwed.

CPF talked with a lot of people. The takers are few. Based on what we are hearing, we screwed up this hire royally.

I was all in in 2012, and they but a very bitter taste in my mouth for every game that I have watched since...

I have been all in this time as well.

I did wake up this morning with the belief that Gruden is possibly the Stalking Horse, which would mean that we get someone amazing as coach regardless.
But they have let us believe regardless.

Do we have a set day/time for announcement yet?

What exactly has been said publicly????? Not bashing anything I just want to see something in writing and not from source X looking for $..... I mean clicks.
