Eveyything that has happened since Fulmer seemed to be playing out like maybe Gruden was back in the picture and maybe they were just trying to place his coordinators. I'm hoping for a pleasant suprise still but I'm starting to feel myself almost start to accept that we may just stay the same course.If so these guys may turn out to be a really good thing but unfortunately it is feeling depressing. Maybe there will be the suprise we are waiting for in the next hours. Otherwise try to keep the faith. Glad to get this cat off my back.

it sounds dumb, but ive heard jeff fisher was a mystery candidate for a while now. even kuharsky asked fisher this in a tweet a week or so ago.

considering fulmers style, it fits.

So you're saying that the Haslams had a choice in whether Fulmer would be appointed AD....... Just because they were there (and wanted someone else) means next to squat if all the others said NO.

No Im saying Fulmer is not in control and he was given the AD to calm the mob. I don't believe he is in control of the search at all but we are better off with him doing the interviews only to the extent that he isn't the ass that Currie was. It was no secret when Currie was hired that he was not well liked in the coaching brotherhood. I believe HOH's control got clipped to a degree but the war still wages. The HOH wont just fade into the shadows....

I may not personally know any of you but I have thoroughly enjoyed my time in this thread. It especially makes me feel good and that I'm in the right place when I see other females just as crazy about sports and Vol football as me.
