OK, folks..... Surely it strikes you as odd that the ONLY people that are being rumored to be interviewed by Fulmer are DCs?? It does me..... Not one name (outside of Tee) is an OC......

Gruden simply can't be seen interviewing ANYONE..... It would let the cat outta the bag in a BIG way! I think Gruden gave Fulmer a list of possible candidates for DC and that's what he's doing. Interviewing them in place of Gruden then reporting back.

At least that's what I'm telling myself..... It makes sense, is perfectly logical, so therefore, it's completely wrong......

Let me get this straight:



1. Tee Martin is going to leave USC, which just won the Pac-10 — A LATERAL MOVE — to Tennessee. To coach under a less in-demand coordinator AT HIS OWN SCHOOL. A man who he would conceivably be stuck behind, unable to become HC if Tucker is successful.



2. Mel Tucker, a man who has not been mentioned in ANY OTHER job discussions, will take the reigns as our HC.



3. We will finally hire a black head coach, but it won’t be TEE MARTIN.



4. We are going to bring in a defensive coordinator without a track record as a successful head coach — to be our head coach, WHEN OUR PROBLEMS HAVE BEEN ON THE OFFENSIVE SIDE OF THE BALL.

He interviewed Morris too apparently. I hope you’re right though. So far these leaks have been extremely underwhelming.

Apparently being the operative word...... I think, if he talked to Morris, Morris would have been a more realistic choice as HC, but look how fast it's being reported that Morris took the AR job.

If Morris thought he had a shot at the TN job he'd be waiting for the decision unless he was told he had no shot.
