That was early in the morning. He backtracked later and talked to former players that said Peyton had texted them for Schiano support.

None of the events of the last few days make any sense.

From Schiano apparently being the one and only target, to PM going to bat for him, to the 'cyber terrorism' (thanks, Finebaum), to Currie STILL being allowed to jet around and interview candidates and now Tennessee is willing to double his salary.

Nothing makes any sense.
