Funny story:

When my kids were young, I replied to one of those e-mails and trolled the guy for about a week. I told him I thought we should invest all the money in Avocados. My kids could not wait to get home to see his response each night as he kept talking about oil investments and huge returns and I always steered it back to investing in Avocados. He finally stopped responding when I told him I would send the cash, but I needed his bank account info to wire the funds. :)

That's hilarious.

Finebaum is beyond parody....he essentially became rich by pitting moronic Alabama and Auburn "fans' against each other...and now he's worried.

Suddenly, a fanbase isn't playing its traditional, approved role of lapdog.

The media elites' REAL issue is that the 'customer' here actually made noise and disturbed their pretty little world, where the peasants calmly accept every sh*t sandwich that is fed them, buy the tickets, wear the gear, and act like fools on College GameDay.

When they didn't hear, "Thank you Sir, may I have another?" this time, they panicked. Their fantasy-world is off its axis, and the uppity peasants MUST be put in their place.

Don't they know how this world works?!?!

Okay, something I'm not getting. Dots aren't connecting.

Allegedly Peyton called Gundy last week and talked up the Vols. This is according to ESPN which I'm not sure I believe. I think somewhere just above supermarket tabloids is their domain at the moment. However, if true...

If Currie had his man Schiano, why would or how come Peyton is calling another coach to gauge interest when he was all but signed?

Separate paths?

Oklahoma State Cowboys coach Mike Gundy meets with Tennessee Volunteers about coaching position

I don't believe the money was there before Sunday's events. UT was going cheap.

Hyams, Ward jr both say PM supported hiring Schiano. May not like it but it happened. PM has not refuted any of it, either.

I find this interesting. NONE of the big names are saying anything. manning isn't. Gruden isn't. Fulmer isn't. The only people talking are the ones who get paid to do so.
And us hicks.

I gotta admit... I laughed out loud at that last paragraph. While I understand what’s going on, things do feel like that sometimes. But I’m cool with it. 👊

What I'm finding off is how the whole Schiano deal was quiet. Literally, no one saw that coming until the Sunday news reports started leaking. Up until then, we had no clue who was and who wasn't being considered. Now, all of a sudden, we're hearing everyone that's being talked too. This tells me one of three things: 1) Currie and Haslam knew no one would be happy with the Schiano hire so they did it behind our back, 2) we're now leaking everyone we're talking to in order to provide cover for someone bigger (my hopeful pipe dream), or 3) they screwed up royally and now want us to see they're actually "meaning business" this time around (probably the more realistic). Maybe I'm just not seeing it, but can someone please explain how this crook is still our AD??

Go look on 247 and you'll see the smug people who think they are calm and rational and think removing Currie now would be a huge mistake.

And? Still wouldn't explain how Currie was wrapping or had wrapped up Schiano while Peyton was talking to a completely different coach not on anyone's radar at the moment.
