I like others told you that Gruden was not coming here. Like I said I believe there were boosters that reached out to him talking big money. I believed from the beginning that Haslam would win out and he did. Not a insider.

Whoever said that Bev Davenport should herself contact Gruden and offer him the job...

I have steadfastly defended the people in this thread. All of you guys, I truly mean this, are class acts . I look forward to meeting some of you in the future (lord willing). The trolls that come in here do not understand the bond that has formed within this forum.

We fight and bicker... I know I personally do not always say the right thing at the right time. But I have enjoyed communicating my frustrations and the ineptitude of this administration. One day soon... Tennessee will be in the public light.. in a good way .


I thank everyone of you guys (non trolls) for the laughs over the past couple of months.

This is beyond having the right guy. We had him in 2012 and Hart and Haslam torpedoed it the same way they tried to yesterday. Difference between then and now is they underestimated the minions whonthey thought they could slide another one in on. Not this time. Not when dude is tainted with pedophile stench. Who in their right mind would come here for 2 reasons:
1- Coach XYZ has gotten wind of how toxic the Administration is at UT and decides it's not worth the headache.

2- Coach XYZ hasn't heard anything about the admin but sees how the fans are perceived and being roasted by the national media and decides it's not worth the headache.

Also, when Currie gets “let go” the media will make I*t* a story of how this “ridiculous” fan base not only stopped the hiring of a good coach, but had the AD fired too, so when we don’t have instant success we will turn on whoever the coach is. You know, we are the only fan base in America that wants a successful program. (Blue font)
