If gruden truly has agreed to terms, especially signed a binding contract. Why would that not be leaked by his camp and the boosters who were involved in that? Wouldn’t that surely be the nail in Curries coffin here?

Additionally if Gruden has signed some sort of binding contract, how would he not be owed the same compensation schiano is reportedly seeking?

These are legit questions, no blue font involved.

Put em all on a bus with a driver who knows the dz.

Pay him well and send him on his way.

The middle of nowhere would suffice

Agreed. It would show gross negligence and mismanagement

If the boosters are serious about this. They need to make this divorce very public. Control the narrative of why they are pulling their money and make sure media outlets know X amount of boosters will no longer donate X amount of dollars to the university. They need to give the Admin a very public black eye. It probably wouldn't hurt to bring up certain ongoing legal battles of a prominent booster and highlight his ties to the university as well make an attempt to force the University to want to distance itself from people who threw their employees under the bus and are were under FBI investigation for Fraud and had multiple people charged for something they signed off on. Just a thought.

I would be amused, but surprised if they did it publicly.

Swain said he signed off on Schiano. Ainge initially said he didn’t have any involvement, but has since said he has now heard that Peyton signed off as well. Not sure who else has corroborated it.

Then **** Peyton... Feel sorry for everyone that named their kids after him... Need to rename Peyton Pass, cause I want nothing to do with him now.

Sheriff my ass

If what we are being told is correct. That the deal was agreed to on the booster side, then those boosters need to go public with the information themselves. Now. We need something to shake things up before it is too late. Before Currie and Haslam make another decision that will keep us from where we need to be.

I understand the Haslams wanting all the power and what not, but why try and sabotage the university, I just don't get it.

They set up the false flag to start and come back in later to be portrayed as saviors to some extent. In the perfect scheme of this type you can't connect them to the initial act though. This very well maybe occurring but Currie nor Haslam aren't the initiators. Seems like the party to gain let this happen knowing the self-destruction would happen. Currie sabotaged himself for some reason best I can tell. A big piece of info missing for sure.

Ainge got reeled in by the AD. He's on their dime mainly, right?

PM's name isn't getting crushed. That's ridiculous

If the stories stay out there it will hurt his name. Look Peyton is one of my all time favorites. I don't want this to happen, but he needs to come out with a statement if it isn't true.

If you go down that line of thinking, perhaps he still wants to be the coach and wants to give UT every opportunity to fix their mistake?

Maybe Currie actually does have a conscience after all?

From what I can gather, there was a whole lot of lying going on regarding Gruden and support for Gruden and it was from Davenport down the chain in the AD. Those lies were leaked to media members and certain levels of booster and they spread to here.

I also feel now that Charlie Anderson may be Jimmy Hyams source. Jimmy has had Haslam on blast today and pinned all of this mess on him. So I'm pretty sure it's not Haslam himself and many have speculated.

An MOU is basically just agreeing to the terms that will be listed on the contract. Nothing is binding. The purpose is to lay out the intent of the included parties.

No clue though as to why that would not be leaked in a similar fashion given the power struggle at hand.

Didn't AV say he was headed to Knoxville earlier today. Maybe they can force Currie out before it is too late.

Maybe there is still a chance for Gruden.

As my guy said. It is a "war zone" right now.

I think Atlanta Vol verified Beavers story. Gruden was in talks, it was happening. Then Haslam had Currie hire Schiano. It makes zero sense to a sane person, but given Atlanta’s frustration, it seems to be what happened. Nothing makes sense. Most of all hiring Schiano. There are many many more competent choices.

If eager beaver was correct about Gruden, then why are there reports that PM backed Schiano?

If gruden never got a call and he hasn't denied having any type of interest in the job why not give him one? Make him say no that's been volnations saying make him say no! If Currie is fired and somehow Blackburn comes that would be first in my list and go from there
