Opposite in my house.. Husband is asking if I'm still on volnation Gruden train. He has told me I'm crazy believing he will come. I just look at him and say 🕷2Y🍌!! He also wants updates on what's going on in here..

Guys, I'm going to lay this out here for your consideration, take it or leave it as you wish. This is one part of why I have been absolutely confident we have hired Gruden.

On Tuesday the 14th, at around 6:30pm Central time, I received my information that Gruden had signed a formal contract. At that time, knuck and I had not communicated outside of this board. I learned after the fact that he had heard from his own completely different sources at right about the same time that I got my own phone call.

Knuck and I have since discussed our sources, and have confirmed to our own satisfaction that they are completely different from each other.

Hopefully this helps you understand why we have been so adamant that Gruden is the hire. :)

I think we have been toyed with again. Currie with his grinch like smile is getting ready to implode this fan base when he names the new head coach. And as bad as I wanted it to be Gruden, I’m afraid that we are getting Butch 2.0. Preparing myself for disappointment

My thoughts exactly. I have to think it leaks tonight or very early in the morning at the latest. The new coach could meet with his team tonight, but it's getting late for that in the Eastern time zone. Petersen is out if the decision was made tonight, Frost has a conference championship to coach, and....heck, I don't know!

Well let's just all agree that if it's not Gruden (or at least someone comparable) let's make sure the Tennessee admin feels the full wrath of VolNation.
