We came back from Mexico today and it was the day from he!!. Flight got cancelled, we had to drive four hours back in horrid traffic, my youngest got air sick, and I think my oldest left her blankie at the hotel.

We listened to some of the game on the radio during the drive before switching to the iron bowl. I didn’t see it myself, but I feel from catching up on here, I have an accurate enough of a description.

We need a big hire. We deserve a big hire. I have to hope the powers that be feel this way as well because I’m afraid we won’t have much of a program if we trot out most of the other names that have been tossed around. Come on Gruden!

Both may suck but in the grand scheme of things you gotta be able to hang your hat on something.

Not losing 8 games in a season was a big deal! Only (now) one other team could claim that.

As bad as things have been TN NEVER had that albatross hung around our neck. Now we do.

Butch Jones purposefully tanked this season. Nothing else needs to be said about this travesty of a year.

John Currie, every minute we go without an announcement is too long. Butch is gone and you are left as the face of Tennessee football for the moment. Before all other priorities, you owe this fanbase the best, after they have suffered through the worst.

Bring us Jon Gruden.

I like most of the posters in this thread and this is as close to a family or clan as you will find.

I don't socialize much outside this place, I'm working nearly every day trying to build my business.

I don't want this to go away in a manner that tarnishes it. It's been the highlight of a dismal season.

I hate to squash a juicy rumor, but several of the coaches upstairs head over to the training facility at halftime to review film every game. They do it in a golf cart under police escort to get there and back in a hurry
