The one, and I do mean the ONE, d*** thing that gives me ANY hope, at all, is that losing to VU is why Neyland was hired.

This hire HAS to be big. Otherwise, the whole fanbase is gone.

I kinda feel bad for Currie....... This has turned into a Neyland hire situation. And he (Currie) may not have as much control over it as we all wish he'd have.

As much as we all want Gruden, he might not be a Neyland.

If we do indeed get the homerun hire (Gruden or Peterson), we have a mountain of a hill to climb. Talent or depth of talent, player development, and S&C are terrible. It will be at least Y3 before we see any measure of success. We are a terrible football team

So, tonight is rock bottom for the UT football program. I hate it so much for the seniors to have the first 0-8 record in program history. The one bright side is that this is the bottom and there is nowhere to go but up! The sky is the limit and we SOON will be on the climb up the mountain! Thank you Vol seniors for four years of dedication to our great and beloved team! Tomorrow is a brand new day and I believe that it will prove to be a new winning era for the Vols! Gruden to the Hill!!!

Ya know, I hate it for the seniors too but at some point you either suck it up or lay down and it’s quite apparent which way the team went. That’s not only on the coaches but the leadership within the team.

Stadium crew has supposedly been told 2 PM. I took it with a grain of salt because it was followed with info about Gruden, Tee, and Sanders, and I can't wrap my mind around that part.

I just feel absolutely horrible for these poor student athletes. They really are good to great players. The only reason b**^# slapped at home is because if the coaches. Gruden would be the biggest idiot in east T.N. to go to Knoxville

Many of these players were overrated, let's be honest, it isn't all coaching.

I don’t think so. An announcement this weekend means Gruden, or another non sitting coach. Just not enough time to get everything worked out in 48 hours! Must have been working on it for a week at least. My Gruden only clock has 26 hours left on it.
