It doesn’t have much to do with our school honestly. I just believe that if Gruden has any interest in coaching he would have done it long ago. Seriously, how many calls do you think he’s had since he exited. I’m sure he’s had plenty of opportunities. And as much as I hate to say it our last few hires have killed this program. It’s not exactly as appealing as it once was.

Everyone, especially at Gruden's age, worth their salt, start thinking about 'what kind of legacy am i going to leave to my loved ones', and once the $'s are in the bank to make them comfortable, then something will come along to make them hungry again.........don't ask why until you've been there

I don't care who is right in this thread or who is wrong, I appreciate each one who has brought information..... I have disagreed with some who brought information and have pointed it out when I did.... but I have enjoyed every minute I have spent here.

I want a GREAT coach for the Vols before I die.... this could very well be my last chance to see it.... that Great coach in my view would be Gruden.... I would be happy with Petersen as a back up if Gruden falls through. but I am here because I want Gruden...

If anyone's information proved out that it was wrong I don't care... I want results...

You prove my point. Again, I am just as mad, upset and ready for us to return to our great days. But I know this is a GREAT program. Period.

If you can't even acknowledge that Gruden would CONSIDER us, I don't know what to say to you except that I hope you can find a way to find the good in our program and focus on that instead of the other option.

Either way, go Vols! I am here cheering my lungs out for the Vols and do not care to waste my energy for one more second on this.

You mean you state your opinion which is fine but not everyone has the same one as you do . What is obvious to you may not be to somebody else based on their opinion . It’s not denial it’s an opinion . Surly you know the difference .
