I’ve played and watched a lot of football in my 50+ years and never seen a collection of players who lay on the field with minor injuries as much as this team. That reflects poor character in the team and a team that has never had their will built up to believe they can overcome challenges. Butch tore these guys down as human beings. Nothing is clearer to me. His a** needs to be in jail, much less coaching another team.

That Air Raid crap won’t work in the SEC.

Alabama, Auburn, A&M, Missouri, and Kentucky all utilize a lot of the Air Raid concepts (mesh, shallow cross + dig, Y route tree, wide split zone runs). Sumlin won big running Kingsbury’s version of it* (*granted he had Johnny Football).

I believe if you recruit it well, it can be successful. Have to have a defense to back it up though.

You are right. This is one of the softest teams I have ever seen. Anywhere. And they dont seem to care that much, either.

And we are playing a bunch of 4-star recruits.
