I am not opposed to a female play by play person. I just can't stand her. The inflection and mannerisms she uses just grate n my last nerve. She is terrible announcing anything. Its tough getting through the softball world series because you know you will have to listen to her.

This exactly. Why go from hero to villain for no reason at all. Everyone would have understood if he just didn’t wanna coach college ball. But he fanned the flames when he didn’t need to. That’s suspicious to say the least.

I am a woman, I don't mind female play by play, but as soon as I turned to the Florida game I thought "Wow, her voice is just so annoying"

Very cool. I always knew sports journalism was for me. Too bad it didn't work out for me. A lot of life issues got in the way. I still work in communications just in a other form. Sports will always be my first love.

My whole thing is ..... if it's NOT Gruden, the AD is severely cutting the hamstrings of whoever will be the new coach by not putting the rumors to rest.

I must be missing something because I have not seen a Wallace tweet saying UT has moved on from Gruden.

I believe the majority of the people in this thread need to be on meds. If someone they trust isn’t constantly telling them it’s Gruden, then they immediately freak out and start thinking the worst. Too many people are addicted to the 24/7 news cycle.

I was told by someone that works in the stadium that there is supposed to be a 2 PM announcement tomorrow. Is anyone else hearing anything? I'm skeptical because he added that Tee and Sanders were rumored to be part of the new staff. That really makes no sense to me.

Well, my Grudometer just went over 50% for the 1st time. I was always a 100% hope, 0% believer given our past hires. But I just received a call from some friends that tailgate in G5/30 and all have heard from various sources to expect an announcement tomorrow. No official names were given other than the letter "J" and he's not currently coaching.

My 1st thought was, "Oh crap, we've hired June Jones!" But the excitement seems to be there.

We can hope.
