He was never 100% though. He was 50/50 and then I think 60%. I do not think he knows much either.

Honestly, the only two people I believe in this search are John Brice and Grant Ramey. They have not said much, but they make sure what they say is factual.

If Currie and the uppers lay another egg then I'll never spend my money on UT again. I will always stay tuned to the boys on the tube but my money will flow to the Predators.

How can you spend $340 million on Neyland and not be all in to get the best HC and staff in the nation to go with it?

But... I will bleed orange until the day I die.

My interest for UT football goes back 50+ years and have been thru worse. This hire is just one element in what is supposed to be a culture change thru out the University. Gruden is coming until I woken from this dream !

I have a similar degree. I interviewed Pat Summitt multiple times. That woman put the fear of God into me even as a media member.

True...but that simply means Gruden has been non-commital publicly. Currie could have moved on to other candidates to have a back-up plan in place. Or, he could have moved on for affirmative action reasons. I trust Wallace more than most, but this news doesn’t surprise me nor discourage me from being all Gruden.

I have no issue with women calling games. That said, I agree that she is awful. Grating voice and she brings up bizarre side comments that have no bearing on the game.

Currie is either a troll, BS'er, or a hero in this hire. Hero is my take getting it done with the hire.

Gruden or bust....anything less would be a disappointment.

With exception of Petersen who would be the only other acceptable option.

The Vols just cannot go any smaller....Too much smoke pointing at Gruden...

Anything less would be wishing on a prayer in fan's eyes...

I bet. LOL. But what an life experience.

I thought I had wasted my money on that degree but she got really good jobs shortly after graduation. First with the Dodgers and now with the Predators.
