Quick serious question for you guys.

IF Gruden falls through, as well as Petersen, would you be a lot less interested in Tennessee football for a while?

And, let’s be honest, there are many here in this thread that need a lot of hand holding. Everyday is like a roller coaster. Insiders have to step in and calm everyone down. Has anyone thought that perhaps the insiders are celebrating right now with other insiders because the “Eagle has landed” and they don’t have time to post in here?

It’s okay. Everyone else will see soon as well. UT doesn’t have the fortitude to make the hire we need. At least I have come to terms with it.

Well...the same could be said of last time...but they came back and are believed again. I hope everyone is right...can’t stand the thought of Mullen, Norvell or Mike Leach leading my alma mater.

My question is if the AD reads this site like many claim is so than how the hell is Hutch Cindy’s cousin? You know damn well if that was your cousin youd make sure he didn’t know Jack. Talking about pissing the family off.

What’s amazing to me is so many closely connected people having different info yet almost indentical timelines.

Another reason I think it is Gruden is this has been the most lid tight search. Well if trying to keep quite, which of coaching candidates would that be the easiest... Gruden.

Everyone else has other people that in some way get involved. Like other school allowing you to talk, and they let that out. Coach gets told they are not getting job, so they let that be know (I am staying or turned it down) etc

Gruden imo is only one they could work with this closely.

Yeah and Gruden would be the biggest Vol troll ever if he isn't coming and brang up Tennessee and Rocky Top unprovoked on a radio show after telling the host not to bring up the Tennessee job. IMHO
