Ain't that the truth, man. It's going to be a very Grude morning soon. People need to calm down and nor listen to every little attempt at trying to figure something out. Currie has kept this search very tight. Bravo for him and bravo for the big hire who will be announced very soon.

What has frost done to prove he can win consistently? NOTHING. He’s been a head coach for 2 YEARS... and his 1st year was average at best. Things just happened to line up right for him in year 2. He’s a flash in the pan who has had exactly ONE good season.

All of that.. Plus the fact that I’m sick of giving mid major coaches a promotion. First it was Dooley from LaTech, then Butch from Cincy, now Frost from UCF?? No thanks. I don’t want to be anyone else’s guinea pig to see what they can do at a big school.

I can respect that. The biggest name I hear that I worry about was Mullen. That’s not even a step up in my eyes.

Don't know who will be announced, but I know who I hope it will be. But I do think we all have something in common here:

No.1 offense in the country. Meyer wins with it, Dabo wins with it, Kelly wins with it. Lyle was/is a clown

This is our first football coaching search with this administration. Anyone that looks at our past hires as an indication to this hire is being prejudiced against UT. I am willing to be all in with Gruden until Currie and the current administration give me a reason not to be.

That is the big thing with me. If Currie trots a marginal hire our there then he has made himself look foolish. All this secrecy has caused immense speculation and the media will have a field day with a marginal hire. They are already making fun of TN constantly and acting like it's a 2nd rate job

I can see being apprehensive about the time but I just can’t compare him to Dooley.

Im not a nega Grude by any means and if youll look at my profile Ive been registered here for several years but Ive just learned with age not to set myself up for failure.

The past has taught me that UT doesnt want to pay for a quality coach or program yet demands it in return.

Life dont work that way Bro.

Going by what I see this morning as the coaching search winds down you see the guage turning from big names to cheap alternatives.

I shouldnt be suprised.

UT...The school that will spend more money trying to convince you that pile of dog **** is a meatloaf than it would have cost just to make one.
