Anyone listen to Doug Matthews this morning?

The wife was out (buying more decorations) and was listening and Charles Davis said on the way out to tune in to the Ohio St.-Michigan game, like he was hinting at something?

Are we after somebody on either of those staffs?

The NEWS, whatever it is, breaks during the game?

Anybody know anything?

At the end of the day, Kelly didn’t want to play eight SEC games every year. I think Kelly is a scheme guy who enjoyed success by designing schemes that exploited his superior talent. That didn’t fly in a talent balanced NFL and likely would not fly in the SEC against the teams that he would have to beat to win big.

No matter what happens, thank you all for the entertainment. This thread has been the best part of this entire season, and Tennessee finally has a chance to be back on top. Hoping that "soon" becomes "now" right in time for my 22nd tomorrow.

Most people enjoy Disney, pistols, and golf I’d throw in best hamburgers also . Those topics don’t stir the pot like other coaches besides JG in the JG thread . I think every coach has been discussed at one point in here .

I’d like to say hello to all my fellow vol fans with this first post. I’ve been a fan since I can remember, and spent a few years on campus in the early 2000s. I’ve lurked for years, and was even here during 2012 when the grumors were swirling. Now I’ll go ahead and get bashed with my first post as well. I wanted to post now so I could say I was right when we end up with Joe Shmoe from high school U.

I will say I would gladly take Gruden, along with 2-3 other names out there. But I have 0 faith in our administration to get it done, and we heard all this nonsense in 2012. I also just don’t think this is a move that makes sense for Gruden compared to what he’s doing now and the money he can make elsewhere. I don’t see him taking the chance on coming here and failing a program he obviously cares about.

I hope I’m wrong and I like my crow medium. Have a good day guys.

Schiano has been rumored to be in the mix. Would be disasterous.
