I'm watching the Purdue-Arizona game on the watchESPN app and have noticed that they've switched their MNF commercial from Gruden and the crew on the field with couches and TVs, to a similar commercial but with random actors.
Maybe they have always had two commercials, but I have been watching a lot of basketball recently, seen a lot of MNF commercials, and this is the first time I've seen any version of that commercial without the MNF crew.
Ive actually paid more attention to this as well. Not sure this is the case but the way my company use to purchase commercial spots was in frequency (500 over 1 week) or something similar. We were guaranteed a certain amount of prime time spots or preferred runs but the rest were played at the stations discretion. Ive noticed the GMC MNF commercial running quiet a bit during all hours. To meet commitments per contract sometimes the network would run a bunch of the spots in bulk to meet the contract... could be happening?
Ok I posted this earlier and it immediately got buried in the list of counties so I'll post it one more time. I thought it was really interesting:

Just got word it's done. Still waiting to see it to believe it. Austin Thomas has agreed to come back to UT. Gruden wanted Thomas bad and finally got him. It's coming together fellas. Let's win tomorrow and enjoy an unbelievable off season.
For those who don't know, Austin Thomas is a UT Grad who served on our staff as an assistant. He is currently the General Manager for LSU and is credited for locking down 5 star Jacoby Stevens to LSU one month after meeting him at a camp. Bama and UGA were at the same camp.

Okay, OGs, Nuevo Gs, Nega Grudes, Catbone and all others. I am about to get pesky...
One of our own, Yankee Vol, author of the game threads, is doing another fundraising for St Judes and running a marathon. Last year, the Politics Forum outspent everyone to include (can't even believe I can say this) LG pitching in a significant amount.
I think we can not only do better, but smash his goal like Gruden is going to smash everyone in the SEC. His post & thread:

I'm not quite sure what you're getting at, but that's probably just me. I was just making the point that it's interesting that within the last two days we've had a bunch of people say Gruden is getting announced and now suddenly he's absent from the MNF commercials.
