Let's not spoil anyones surprise and I am sure the people who shared that information did so with the understanding that it would not be shared. Even then... they themselves spoke in code.

Everyone knows that until the ink is dry, fat ladies sing etc. there is no deal. There is a lot of smoke in here judging from other comments .. competent staff is coming ... soon, I haven't posted on this thread before tonight , and if you can decode the initials, this is actually pretty significant imho.

There is also more to the story but you have enough, who the linebacker coach was with last weekend in Knoxville yada, yada, yada. What the UT equipment team are going to do and how the field or press area will be displayed for the announcement, yada, yada.

People are wrong on message boards all the time and people get faulty information, but someone was asking for good news ... this if it proves out would be considered good news. I would put it at 75 + %.

My 3 degrees of separation, 2 played football here, one's dad played football here, ... i played baseball here.

Tbh, I've never wavered from the initial double naught spy work you and SFD did, along w/ trends among boosters, Heartsforgrumors and Beav/Bubba.

I've spoken about being 100% in for weeks but I've yet to see anything to make me think differently. Petersen would soften the blow, immensely, if need be.

Ftr, I was a pretty faithful follower of this thread, with a few meltdowns here and there, but for the most part, I stayed the course.

I really like most of the regulars, with the exception of a few bad apples.

I popped in tonight only to see OLEVOLFAN say 'good news is coming soon.'

That is the type of BS that helped me leave this thread in the first place. It is an anonymous message board about a college football team. This isn't leaked nuke codes or info sensitive to the NSA.

If I had any knowledge of anything, I would share what I knew without little cheeky hints of information.

I would tell my info without outing anyone or myself, and I wouldn't need riddles or puzzles or generalizations. I would say it in a straightforward manner like an adult human being.

You can tell me to STFU or GTFO, but I stand by my dish on this.

Good news. Either we get Gruden or Petersen or a similar level hire or I don't have to worry about this cluster**** of a program any more.
