If it isn't Gruden..then this is horrible PR work on Currie's part. Wouldn't you wanna squash Gruden rumors as quick as possible so that you don't have a complete letdown at the introductory presser? UNLESS...Currie doesn't realize how many Vol fans are expecting and pining for Gruden. Maybe he doesn't. Maybe he's really insulated from the fan base. The same people who are supposed to fill up Neyland. I don't know.

Have you ever been thorough, or been a part of a company buyout? It is the same thing. Management can choose to keep employees in the dark or in the loop. In my opinion, the larger the company the less you should share. Either way in the absence of info gossip will take root. Either way the lack of info to the masses does not indicate the anything about the actual negotiations.

2 years ago she and her friend ran in orange/white checkerboard leggings, orange tutus and VOL shirts in honor of my brother who died from cancer and loved the VOLS. They got "GO Vols!" all along the race. It was awesome.
