Okay, so I hear Sunday, Tuesday and Wednesday. Here's a thought...
Beaver stated ESPN would "break" the story. Being that Gruden is an ESPN employee, that makes sense as someone else mentioned in one of the past Gruden threads.
Knowing this, UT has a normal press conference every Wednesday, correct? If so...
Rumors start whirling around Sunday as extremely controlled leaks mention UT has a coach signed.
Monday, specifically Monday night, at the end of MNF, they have a special announcement after the game is over and a video montage of Gruden's "greatest hits" and he announces he is leaving MNF to pursue coaching again.
Tuesday, rumors go wild about UT and Tampa Bay or any other open job out there. Complete silence from the UTAD over the issue. Media goes into a frenzy trying to find out the who and where he's going. ESPN suspiciously quiet.
Wednesday, in a packed house, Currie has a press conference. Gruden has been snuck into Knoxville (it is possible) and pops out as he is announced as coach. Media goes nuts, servers overload and every pre-game show this weekend goes nuts analyzing the announcement and what will happen.
