Plan 1A, 2, B....sorry I didn’t verbatim the quote

He didn't say those things either.

He said we have a clear plan and a clear plan beyond the first plan. There are several different ways to interpret that. If he meant options or plan a and plan B, I believe he'd have said that.

I’m 100% in on wanting Gruden. I’m 95% he’s signed based on the information we’ve gathered over the past 6-7 weeks. But, I wasn’t there and I don’t know any of you who know people who know people. So taking your word at face value would be careless on my part. So I resign to the fact that it may not be Gruden and at the end of the day only 1 outcome would totally take me out and that problem was solved 2 weeks ago when Butch was fired. It’s been a fun, wild 6-7 weeks and it looks like we only have a few days left till we all know who’s behind door number 1.

It’s only been 6-7 weeks we’ve been doing this??? Man, feels like it’s going on a year...

I almost want to say that I would be happier with Peterson........can I say that in here?

I get that. I will be extremely happy, after the disappointment of not getting Gruden wears off.

But, I so want to find out how Gruden would do.

When Gruden is announced, I picture all of us like the last scene in Oceans 11 when they all meet at the fountain, bask in their work and simply walk away with a wink and a nod. That scene epitomizes this thread.

But he didn't say those things.

Maybe not exactly..in those exact words..but did he not say that there was another plan in place that some people would not like (but that he was ok with)? I know you’re a super sleuth and all but I took it to mean that the fall-back after Gruden was a solid hire that he liked but others may not...

If you didn’t interpret it like that I apologize. Doesn’t instantly make your opinion the right one

His first 4 years at Washington while playing one of the weakest schedules in the country.

Just done see anything to be that impressed with.

Your crap may be tolerated in other threads, but not here. Please get out and go tell coach Jones that you need a new assignment.

And if it’s Mullen, Frost, Kiffin, Campbell, Taggart, Schiano, Fuente, Brohm then it’s gonna be like Ed Helm got punched by Mike Tyson in The Hangover.

If he's as good as y'all say he is, his greatness should be self evident.

Chip Kelly dominated that same conference a few years earlier and it was easy to see he was a great coach. His teams were DOMINANT. They would annihilate everyone and rarely lose.

Nothing about Chris Petersen and his teams at Washington said dominant. All I saw the last 2 years was an okay team playing a weak schedule and winning games because the schedule was soft. Sorta like Wisconsin this year.
