Happy Thanksgiving VN!

I promised my wife and told myself that’d I’d stay away from two topics during our family time...politics and UT coaching search.

I broke my promise within 15 minutes but it wasn’t my fault. My uncle goes hey I heard you think we are getting gruden and scoffed. A few others in the room laughed and my wife tapped my arm softly to say let it go but I couldn’t. I promptly said let’s make a 500 dollar bet right now. We shook hands and each paypal’d 500 dollars to my dad to hold until the hire is made. He then said we are getting Campbell or Durkin. Clearly he has been reading too much VQ.


Instead of asking “when is it going to be announced next week “we should be asking ourselves “when is the VN party?”

Leonard Little on twitter won't respond when asked who he wants as coach. Somebody said it's already gruden and he said "let it go my man." Either he's trying to keep it secret or it's not gruden.

I started to do a Jimmy joke about him reporting about him returning for the 2nd half but I didn't because:

1. We are all pretty tired of Jimmy jokes and

2. It was a little too "soon".
