Did I read correctly yesterday that Kelly signed a contract with Florida but it included an out which has allowed him to talk to UCLA? If so, how could Florida AD be that stupid? Why wouldn’t they have announced him ASAP?

Honestly, I don't believe anyone "knows" anything outside of a very small circle. If it is Gruden, we will have recruits knocking down the door. As long as it is a big time hire, I'll be happy. Right now based on nothing but gut feeling, I am 50/50 that it is Gruden, and 50/50 that it is one of a small group of names mentioned here.

I read a story quoting someone close to the AD at Florida that they regretted not making an official offer before he talked to UCLA. He may be leveraging an offer from UCLA to get more from Florida.

This is AWESOME! I just don't think that this is a hexadecimal. He has the word "Fingerprint" in front of the code. It is a PGP Fingerprint Key. Reporters use them to verify their identity.

New theory: Bubba sent an encrypted email to someone using PGP, so he posted his personal code so that it could be unlocked. Apparently this is common practice in journalism to protect information from email hacking and data mining. It works like this:

You send an email with information you need to protect using pgp software. To open this, the recipient needs both the public key from the sender (which Bubba published) and a personal private key. It’s a two way encryption system.

Agreed VT, that had to be a smokescreen, I don't think we were even considering Kelly, he's 50/50 Fla/UCLA, and it doesn't matter to me which as long as we get our man.
