Gruden has been asked 3 times in interviews that I am aware of. His answers
1 I'm not gonna speculate while other coaches are still coaching.
2 He starts talking about Andy Reid eating all the crackers in the office ( changes subject) He was asked twice in this interview.
The other one interview he specifically asked not to be asked but mentioned Rocky Top .
If you erase everything from your brain that you have seen on social media and VN and take information above , one must realize that at the very least Gruden is very much a possibility. I choose to believe it's done.

This is what gives me hope too. Then I read the Da Vinci Code stuff and start to loose hope. Just me.

This. If you go back to '12, I believe he was somewhat interested then but the brass f'd it up. He wanted to be woo'd but wasn't. His agent - to protect his client's brand - goes out and says it was a fantasy to think he would take the job.

Fast forward. He has had multiple opportunities to say he doesn't want to coach college ball. So, again it was up to the brass to see if a deal could be reached. Another key element to this is Peyton. He is very close to Jon and knows exactly what went wrong last time and he's held everyones hand through this to make sure they did it right this time. The fact that Peyton has been much more involved this time around is telling. He's not going to let them screw it up this time. And having Peyton be the Chief Woo'er makes it much more plausible and likely that we get our guy. Jon loves QB's. He really loves great QB's. Plus he and PM are already tight. Chief Woo'er...you can quote me on that. :yes:

Yes he said it right after knuck said expect a rollercoaster tomorrow. It could have been nothing but a reference to that. It was literally a few post later. Maybe he knew the JJ was stuff on and fixing to come to a head, maybe he was just referring to the roller coaster. Either way I don't see that as some big deal. No that was on here during the good time celebration the night before last. Pretty sure Bubba posted that here or someone tagged it here, not 100% on that. He posted that sometime shortly after beav and AV were talking about getting together for VN golf tournament. I think it's nothing about nothing personally. Knuck had just posted something to the effect watch for the wild rollercoaster tomorrow after talking about Gruden being done, and shortly after Bubba said something to the effect watch VN tomorrow. Nothing earth shattering to me in there. But I don't want to speak for either of them, there are legit and can speak for themselves.:rock: SOON!!!!! GRUDEN TO ROCKY TOP!

Peyton’s involvement is what gives me peace. This is a tryout for a GM position.
