So if they renegotiated contract that means they know he is leaving... would they not leak that out or maybe just want to "break story" on Gruden's/UT'S timeline?

No, I don't think they know. Why would they ? He's not going to tell them, and they sure as heck won't report it because we're not a big 10 team for them to love. They will know when it's time and hopefully not before. He might even finish out the NFL season with them, that probably wouldn't matter and might even be a boost for us. Free media exposure, etc.
