Let us know for sure. Sounds interesting. I have had some anejo tequilas that drink like a burbon or a scotch. Good stuff.

It's always good to have the same info coming from different sources. I think we have at least 3 separate sources confirming Gruden, maybe more.

I think Currie is the wild card here... but also believe he knows he is backed into a corner.

The question I ask is will he buckle under and follow as most will or will he be stubborn as he has proved to be in the past????

I believe there’s 2 theories in garnering our coach. And it’s the battle raging within the believers.

1) The total upheaval and change of power that many of our super sleuths worked to uncover with the clues from
Beaver and Bubba. Gruden was the only option from the beginning and his interest, needed numbers and incentives, and projected 5-10 year plan was ironed out well before any of us knew it. Possibly as early as late Spring. The plan was executed, had a few hiccups along the way but was never in jeopardy from Gruden’s side and now we await the announcement.

2) The more traditional take. Butch began to tank and after Florida, Currie began to make some calls. Currie didn’t want to fire Butch right away because he didn’t want to fire the football coach in his first year as AD. Behind the scenes, Currie began to reach out to agents of coaches and make a list of potential hires. Once he finnaly fired Butch, he thought “what the heck, might as well call Gruden” and did. But he also reached out to all the other candidates we keep hearing and now, in a matter of a few days, has reached his decision. And many just think Gruden was a courtesy call and don’t really believe it’s him but iits fun to dream.

Those who keep asking if anything has changed or has anyone heard from Atlanta or Beav more than likely fall into that 2nd group. At some point you have to chose what you believe and stick with it. 👊

Yes, in Point Richmond. View from the living room was down the hill, of the Bay and Angel Island.

Worked in SF, out near Cliff House.

We'd go back in a flash, if we could afford it. And if I didn't have to make the @#$%^&* commute. 25 minutes in in the morning; 1 1/2 hour+ out in the afternoon.

That was talked about yesterday. Some folks were saying it was in response to a thread poll of who the next coach would be. I do know that they were talking about it yesterday. But the real answer is coming SOON!!!!! It's GRUDEN TO THE HILL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Oh I am not at all against Gruden to the Hill and I am not being negative but if you can't reveal how there can be stakeholders in a public run institution I will simply say I can't add this to my theory or understanding and will continue to go with what I know!

I will stay with my guy ... he isn't being cryptic

Nothing has been squashed, this could have been put too rest awhile back but it has not been. And the reason in my opinion is that we have found our coach. Rev, I subscribe to the belief that Gruden has always been option 1. However, you ALWAYS perform due diligence on other names, even if you don't expect to pursue them.
